The killers of my constituent, Bhim Kholi, got off far too lightly for the horrible act they committed. That’s why it was good to speak to BBC Radio 5 Live yesterday afternoon to discuss what steps I have taken so far to push for proper justice, and what more we can do as a society to ensure crimes of this nature receive the proper punishment. We discussed how the sentences handed down were unduly lenient, the need for greater parental responsibility and what more the Government can do to improve our prison system.
