Peter slams the Government's record on apprenticeships

With nearly 1 million people, Not in Education, Employment, or Training, apprenticeships are more important than ever to help increase opportunities and encourage aspiration in the younger generation.

Yet the DWP, who should be doing something about this, saw their own apprenticeship figures fall by more than 30% between 2024 – 2025, despite telling businesses to hire more young people.

Once again, the Government's message is: ‘do as we say, not as we do’.
