A recent report by the House of Commons Library found that youth unemployment has gone up by a staggering 42,000 in the last year, and even more worrying is that in the same period there are 50,000 more economically inactive young people.
Last week, during a Work and Pensions Committee session, he asked the Minister for Employment, what the Government is doing to address these worrying figures, and what steps they are taking to ensure future policy decisions do not make the problem worse!
