Peter recently voted against the Third Reading of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill in Parliament; as he believes that the implementation of the Bill will not achieve the Governments desired outcomes.
Peter stressed that the Bill will push tobacco into the hands of organised criminal gangs, whilst simultaneously creating a two-tier age restriction system by which people born a day apart would have different purchasing rights for tobacco and vaping products.
Peter will continue to stand up for freedom and believes that residents of Mid Leicestershire are able to make better informed decisions over their own lives than bureaucrats in Whitehall.
