Peter Bedford MP recently visited Cedars Academy in Birstall, where he had the opportunity to speak with dedicated staff members and meet the school’s impressive pupil leadership team.
During the visit, Peter was given a tour of the facilities, discussed local education priorities with senior staff, and sat down with student leaders to hear about their experiences and aspirations.
“It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm, maturity, and leadership from young people in our community,” Peter said. “Schools like Cedars Academy are not just centres of learning—they are pillars of our local society, and I will continue supporting them wherever I can.”
The visit was part of Peter’s ongoing work to champion high standards in local education and ensure that schools across Mid Leicestershire are equipped to help every student thrive.
