Yesterday, Peter spoke to GB News about the worrying number of people entering this country with no right to do so, and why he has signed Rupert Lowe’s motion calling for all Illegal immigrants to be deported.
The current Government is failing to keep our borders secure. One of their first actions in office was to scrap the Rwanda scheme, effectively turning the UK into a sanctuary for illegal immigrants.
The public want this crisis sorted, and the Labour Party can no longer sweep it under the carpet, despite the Prime Minister’s best efforts to do so!
Peter said “The nation is fed up with thousands of military-aged men arriving on our shores illegally, claiming they fear for their safety – despite often having travelled through numerous other safe western countries.”
“We have become too soft as a nation, and people know if they arrive on a dinghy the current Government will roll out a red carpet for them at the taxpayer’s expense.”
“I signed Rupert Lowe’s motion because enough is enough and myself and the other MP’s who signed it want to deliver what the public needs and wants.”
“It is time to take back control of our borders and start prioritising the people of this country.”
Peter Bedford will continue to pressure the Labour Government to get a grip of our borders, stop playing politics and stop expecting taxpayer’s to foot the bill for those with no right to be here.
