Peter Bedford MP questions DWP Ministers on unemployment

At DWP questions, Peter asked Ministers about the impact of the Employment Rights Bill on levels of unemployment. 

Peter asked:

Does the minister agree with me that whatever steps her department is taking to get people into work is being immediately undermined by the anti-growth, anti-jobs, anti-business measures included in the Government’s Employment Rights Bill.

The minister responded:

I do not, Mr Speaker.

Peter remains concerned about the impact of this legislation particularly in light of the minster’s inadequate response and will continue to raise this in Parliament.
