‘If a child can do an adult crime, they can do adult time’ – That’s what I told Emma Caldwell on @BBC Leicestershire this morning about the unduly lenient sentences that were handed down to the killers of much-loved Braunstone Town man, Bhim Kholi.
Since I first heard about this horrific tragedy, I have been campaigning, alongside Bhim’s daughter, Susan, to fight for proper justice.
I also discussed the need for greater parental responsibility and what more we can do as a society to clampdown on youth crime, as I think, we’ve become too soft.
