A New Medical Centre for Rothley

Over the last ten years Rothley has seen significant housing development and with it strains on local services; particularly healthcare provision.

With the development at Broadnook these pressures are only set to intensify in the coming years.

Since becoming your Member of Parliament, in July 2024, one of the recurring themes from my conversations with residents is the need for Rothley to have its own Medical Centre.

A Centre that is easily accessible and that could offer a range of health and wellbeing services beyond that of a single GP Surgery.

I have been working closely with Parish Councillors, Community Groups and Stakeholders within the healthcare profession to push for such a facility for the village.
